DIGIFORGEX Record Pro is a Chrome browser extension used for screenshots, screen and tab recordings, visual annotations, editing, and local media management. The details below explain the data processed by the extension. The other sections of this Privacy Policy continue to apply where relevant.

Information Processed by the Extension

• Account email, account identifiers, sign-in session information, and Free/Pro access or subscription status when you sign in.
• Recording usage counts, relevant account access checks, extension settings, and preferences needed to provide these features.
• Screenshots, webpage images and text, screen or tab video, and optional microphone audio and camera video when you use the corresponding capture or recording features.
• Webpage titles and URLs associated with captures, and cursor, click, or on-screen annotation information needed for user-requested capture and recording functionality.
• Support report type, message, optional reply email, and limited browser or extension diagnostics if you choose to provide them.

Local Screenshot and Recording Storage

DIGIFORGEX Record Pro stores user-created screenshots, recordings, and related media information locally in browser extension storage, including IndexedDB. The current extension does not automatically upload screenshot or recording files to a DIGIFORGEX cloud media library. You can manage or delete locally saved captures using the available extension features. Removing the extension or clearing its browser data may also remove locally saved media; export important files before doing so.

Account, Usage, and Support Communication

The extension communicates with DIGIFORGEX's website at digiforgex.com to sign users in, verify account and Free/Pro access, check recording allowances, and process support reports submitted by the user. Authentication tokens and account state may be stored in extension storage to maintain the session. Necessary technical information, such as IP addresses, may be processed by website infrastructure for request delivery and security. The extension does not require GPS access to provide its core recording and screenshot features.

Permissions and Your Choices

Screenshots, recordings, webcam and microphone features, and annotations are initiated or enabled by the user, subject to applicable browser permissions. You choose the pages, regions, or media sources you capture. Captured content may include sensitive material visible in the selected area; review it before downloading, sharing, or submitting it to support.

Chrome Web Store User Data — Limited Use

Data obtained through the extension is used or transferred only to provide or improve its disclosed user-facing functions, support account access and security, respond to user-requested support, comply with applicable legal obligations, or for other uses permitted by the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy.
